Course Overview This course is designed to introduce learners to the Spanish language at an intermediate level (A2). Building upon the foundational knowledge acquired in the A1 level, students will enhance their ability to communicate effectively in Spanish in everyday situations. The course will focus on expanding vocabulary, improving grammar structures, and developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
Understand and use basic everyday expressions and simple sentences related to personal topics, shopping, and travel. Describe people, places, and things in simple terms. Follow simple instructions and conversations. Engage in basic conversations on familiar topics. Write simple texts, such as postcards, emails, and short descriptions. Course Content
Grammar:
Verb tenses: Present perfect, simple past, future simple Adjectives and adverbs
Pronouns: Direct and indirect objects Prepositions and conjunctions
Vocabulary: Common verbs, nouns, and adjectives related to travel, leisure, work, and family Expressions for expressing opinions, preferences, and feelings
Communication Skills:
Listening: Understanding conversations about everyday topics
Speaking: Engaging in basic conversations, asking and answering questions
Reading: Reading simple texts, such as short articles, emails, and postcards
Writing: Writing simple texts, such as postcards, emails, and short descriptions Teaching Methodology
